Our Committees

During the first two quarters of 2004, the TMH Foundation Board of Trustees focused on the organizational structure of the Foundation.  The mission, vision and objectives were revisited and the primary focus of the reorganization process.

The Foundation provides a working link between TMH and the community.  Therefore, the need to expand the volunteer base was identified and a structure was put in place to meet that need.  The TMH Foundation Board of Trustees approved a new organizational structure that will welcome the addition of 7 new Ad Hoc committees.  The Ad Hoc committees will be chaired by a Foundation Board member and be comprised of board members as well as new volunteers from the community.  The seven TMH Foundation Ad Hoc communities are:

Annual Support Committee

Purpose:  To increase the number of donors to the TMH Foundation; TMH Champions in Health is an annual giving club designed to benefit the hospital.

Community Relations Committee

Purpose:  Enhance the health status of our community by providing programs that focus on wellness and outstanding acute care.

Capital Campaign Committee

Purpose:  To develop and implement a comprehensive plan to support the TMH Capital Campaign.

Business Partners in Health Committee

Purpose:  To increase the number of relationships with businesses in our community.

Planned Giving Committee

Purpose:  To increase the number of people who are aware of the Trumbull Memorial Hospital Foundation planned gifts program and planned giving in general.

Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital

Purpose:  Develop a comprehensive plan that promotes philanthropic support for Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital.

Forum Health at Home

Purpose:  Develop a comprehensive plan that promotes philanthropic support for Forum Health at Home.
