Hospice Volunteer Program
Forum Health at Home Hospice 8747 Squires Lane Warren, Ohio 44484
Kind, Compassionate, Gentle, Sensitive, Respectful and Courageous--these are just a few words that describe a Hospice Volunteer.
But what is a Hospice volunteer? Hospice volunteers are remarkable people who give of themselves and their time in a variety of ways. They lend a helping hand and run an errand or make a meal. They brighten a day by calling to say "hello" or sending a card. They ease worries by sitting with a loved one while caregivers keep appointments or take a much needed rest. They provide clerical support by typing or mailing newsletters, filing and copying, sending cards and thank you notes and much more. They say a prayer, hold a hand and give a hug.
What is a Hospice Volunteer? Help! Hope! Strength! Comfort! ---A friend.
