Elm Road Immediate Care is close by when unexpected minor mishaps catch you by surprise and interrupt your busy life.
From children to adults, Elm Road Immediate Care specializes in the treatment of minor illnesses or injuries. Your cut, cold, fever, earache, sprain, strain, simple fractures, flu or other minor medical concerns can be treated promptly. In fact, you can usually avoid the congestion and long wait often associated with busy traditional emergency rooms.
You and your family receive personal attention and expert care in comfortable surroundings from our highly trained team of physicians, registered nurses and other allied health professionals. Our registered nurses are ACLS (advanced cardiac life support) and PALS (pediatric advanced life support) certified in the event a major medical condition develops.
Radiology, lab and other services are available to help our experienced staff quickly assess, diagnose and treat a variety of problems. Before going home, our staff spends time with you to answer questions and explain your care and instructions. We work closely with your doctor so information about your visit and any tests results are available for your family doctor.
Work-related Injuries and Illnesses. Elm Road Immediate Care provides initial treatment for work-related injuries or illnesses should you become hurt or sick on the job. Elm Road Immediate Care serves as an important resource for WorkMED, the occupational health and industrial rehab branch of Forum Health. After treatment workers receive discharge instructions and return-to-work restrictions. The chart is sent to WorkMED and the employer with a complete explanation of the injured worker’s status, work restrictions and follow-up care.
Blood pressure screening. Free blood pressure screenings are available from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. the second Thursday of each month at Elm Road Immediate Care. No appointment is required.
