HOSPITALIST and FACULTY MEMBER
M.D. or foreign equivalent, 3 years training in field of Internal Medicine, Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine and current medical license in the State of Ohio. As a Hospitalist, provide comprehensive medical care ranging from health maintenance to treatment of acute care to inpatients admitted to the hospital; elicit initial medical hospital, perform a complete physical examination, develop an assessment and plan a summary of the admitting document. Directly participate in the entire diagnostic and therapeutic management of assigned patients and, when indicated, make/direct full arrangements for necessary home care and medical follow-up; order various tests, analyze and diagnose images to provide information on patient’ s medical condition; advice patients concerning diet, hygiene and methods for prevention of disease. As a Faculty Member, participate in training and enabling resident physicians in developing advanced skills and knowledge in the discipline of Internal Medicine. The program consist of comprehensive training in all aspects of the investigation of internal organs and biological tracts of patients, dealing with interpersonal skills, administrative and organized skills, diagnostic and procedural skills as well as proper integration of these skills necessary to accomplish the final goal of developing a sophisticated and mature physician.
